Colin Lynch, Managing Director and Head of Global Real Estate Investments, started his career in 2007 and joined TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) in 2015. Working closely with the Alternative Investments Team, he is responsible for executing the Global Real Estate Strategy overseeing fund design and structuring, implementation and oversight of acquired assets for the Global Real Estate Strategy. Previously, he was responsible for developing the Canadian Real Estate Strategy's Asset Management Program at TDAM. As a Senior Management Consultant, he worked globally at the CEO and board level to develop strategic plans and to design and implement growth and cost management programs for several large and medium-sized companies in various industries. A former investment banker, Colin advised on real estate transactions involving in-house real estate funds and third-party investors. He also advised Mark Carney (then Governor of the Bank of Canada) on Canada’s financial stability during the financial crisis. Colin holds several degrees including a B.A. and a B.Comm., both with Distinction from Queen’s University, an MBA with Distinction from Harvard University, and the ARCT with Honours from The Royal Conservatory of Music. Colin is also a member of the Toronto Investment Board, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Board of Directors, Toronto Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors, and is Emeritus Trustee of Queen’s University.
