Therese Feng brings twenty years of experience in finance and prior research in environmental economics and policy to her work with The Climate Service. Prior to this appointment, she was Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Risk Management at Jefferies where she led firm stress-testing and country risk assessment for fixed income. Before this Dr. Feng provided methodological support on credit risk modeling at Morgan Stanley. That role followed several years as a Sovereign Director at Fitch Ratings, holding a portfolio of Latin American and Asian countries.
Dr. Feng previously held a post-doctoral appointment at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government researching Chinese energy policy and innovation. Her dissertation on Chinese air pollution valuation and policy was published for inclusion in New Horizons in Environmental Economics. She has also published chapters on the Arab Spring and Chinese politics.
Dr. Feng holds a Ph.D., MFS., and BS from Yale University.
